Oil Free Granola


3 Cups Rolled Oats
1 Cup Spelt Flakes
1 Cup Rye Flakes
½ Cup Raisins
½ Cup Chopped Dried Apricots
¾ Cup Chopped Dried Papaya
½ Cup Raw Sunflower Seeds
1 Cup Almonds, whole, chopped or sliced
½ Cup Maple Syrup
½ Cup Hot Water
1 Tablespoon Vanilla, Alcohol-Free

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Combine liquids in a separate bowl. Mix well. Slowly add dry mixture to liquids. Cover and let sit overnight in refrigerator. Dry in dehydrator at 105 degrees until all ingredients are dried, probably 6 – 10 hours.

** Granola is very forgiving. You can substitute any ingredients you do not like for other grains, seeds, nuts and fruits. Just be sure and balance the dry ingredients to the liquids.
